Renovation Rental – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Renovation Rental! These terms apply when you hire equipment from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

These terms apply to:

  • Consumers (personal use)

  • Traders (business/professional use)

Some sections apply only to one or the other — we’ll make that clear where needed.

📦 Placing an Order

  • Placing an order means you’re offering to hire tools from us.

  • Your order is only confirmed once we send a written acceptance (usually by email).

  • We may decline or offer alternatives if your chosen item isn’t available.

  • Your order might be fulfilled by one of our trusted suppliers.

🔧 Equipment Use & Responsibilities

By hiring from us, you agree to:

  • Look after the equipment — keep it secure and in good condition.

  • Use it safely and legally, following all instructions provided.

  • Report any issues — let us know right away if something gets damaged, lost, or stops working.

Please don’t:

  • Modify, sell, or lend the equipment.

  • Allow anyone else to fix it without our approval.

⚠️ You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft. You may be charged for repair, cleaning, or full replacement if needed.

🚚 Delivery & Collection

  • We’ll confirm delivery and collection times during booking.

  • Make sure we have safe and clear access to your property.

  • If access is blocked or incorrect info is given, you may be charged for redelivery or delays.

  • You’re responsible for the equipment from delivery to collection.

💳 Charges & Hire Periods

  • Charges are based on the agreed hire period and item(s) rented.

  • Some items have a minimum hire period — cancelling early won’t reduce the cost.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Late returns

    • Damage or cleaning

    • Failed delivery or collection attempts

📅 Ending the Hire

  • All equipment must be returned on time, in the condition it was hired.

  • We’ll contact you to confirm collection arrangements.

  • Late or missed returns may result in extra charges or full replacement costs.
